The restaurant, where quality prevails over quantity and the main features of the dishes served are a symphony of colour, taste and consistency, can be found right on the main tourist thoroughfare of Karlovy Vary. The restaurant with the French name LE MARCHÉ is just a few metres from the most important sights of Karlovy Vary, such as the Imperial Baths and the Grandhotel Pupp. The experience menu can become a pleasant end to your walk to see the beauty of this unique spa town.
The menu of LE MARCHÉ restaurant is designed so that you can enjoy the dining experience here 6 days a week. From Monday to Saturday, you can enjoy a two-course lunch menu or a three-course dinner. However, the menu is never the same. Its composition is based on the season and the current supply of fresh ingredients from suppliers of meat, fish, vegetables and fruit from all over the world. You can enjoy carefully selected French, Italian and Moravian wines, champagne or well chilled Pilsner light and semi-dark beer. In addition to the experiential menu, we also offer original desserts made of chocolate and fruit, which, of course, must be accompanied by excellent coffee.
At the table in the restaurant or on the summer terrace you will be gladly welcomed Chef Jan Krajč . If his name doesn’t ring a bell, know that in addition to renowned Czech restaurants, he has also worked abroad. Probably the most important cooking experience, however, was the “Michelin restaurant” of the Grandhotel Sauerhof in Austria. He also had his own cooking show on Czech TV, worked as a food stylist for the magazine Style and Taste and published his own cookbook. He finally decided to put his experience to good use in his own restaurant, which is the LE MARCHÉ Karlovy Vary restaurant.
